The beautiful view that these clients in Palmetto, Florida had was enhanced by creating thenegative edge for their new lagoon pool. Sometimes a negative edge is also called aninfinity edge for a swimming pool or water feature. This negative edge lagoon pool includes a stone grotto waterfall water feature using Tennessee river stone and boulders. Theswimming poolwas surrounded by a flagstone patio using three different color types of flagstone, creating a colorful mosaic type pattern within the flagstone decking, and tropical landscaping. Stone veneered walls blended the house with the pool design ensuring a natural flow from thenegative edge lagoon poolto their home. The veneered walls were created using stone with various colors of brown tones. Underwater lighting was installed in thisswimming poolwith multiple colors such as red, blue, green, yellow, and white. Lucas Lagoons also landscaped their side yard and entryway to thenegative edge lagoon poolwith tropical landscaping, stone walls, and a blend of rock boulders with flagstone for backyard steps that led to the path leading to thenegative edge pool. Thisswimming poolwas designed and built byaward winning exterior designer Lucas CongdonofLucas Lagoonsin Sarasota, Florida.
